Sorry for the lack of updates

Sadie is doing okay. she is relearning how to use the foot. The lymph node in that leg is still enlarged and further testing maybe needed. Right now I still owe over $800, so, as hard as it is I can't do anymore right now. She seems very comfortable and is actually feeling better than pre surgery, I think she was in alot more pain than I ever realized, because it's quite a change in her demeanor and behavior. She's happy and trying to bounce around, which causes her to slip and fall sometimes because she's still not used to her three toed foot.

Update and diagnosis

Sadie had her toe amputated and the pathology report came back as Squamous cell carcinoma. It hopefully hasn't spread, but there is a lymph node in that leg that feels suspicious according to the vet and we should do a needle biopsy asap. Still not sure how I'm going to pay for it all, but at least the vet is willing to try to work with me on payments. The total so far has been about 1200, i have gotten it down to 870 (the damn electric and phone companies can just wait!)

Update

Sadie has bone cancer. She needs to have her left rear toe amputated ASAP if the is to be any hope. I maybe able to work out with the vet to delay payment for a little bit to give me time to raise the money. My curren tincome is about $650 a moth so obviously an approx. $1000 surgery will be hard to manage. I will find a way to save my baby, i have to.

tests

Sadie will be going in for bloodwork and x-rays Wednesday morning, the estimate is $300, which will pretty much wipe out my funds. I hate to beg, but if anyone who reads this has or knows of a place to post the link, would you please? I just figure there has to be something i can do, and this is all I can think of..unless I can find a market for homemade dog treats, which, due to Sadie's allergies, I've become great at inventing - sweet potatoes, pork, and apples anyone? LOL

desperate measures

My Sadie is very sick, i need help to raise money to get her diagnostics and treatment. that's the purpose of this blog. There is a link to the side for paypal donations, ANYTHING HELPS. All the money will go directly to pay for care for Sadie. if there is any left over I will try to refund it back, or donate it to the ASPCA or other animal welfare organization. Please help.
